Learn how to bring your photography to life with this two-hour workshop taught by John Smock, an award-winning photographer and a photo professor at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
Why You Should Attend. Whether your photography focuses on event coverage, occasional pictures of family and friends, or day-to-day shooting for a site or blog, this workshop will provide specific tips and techniques for improving your photography.
What This Workshop Covers. This workshop will offer numerous tips, tricks and techniques. You'll come away with new guidance on everything from preparation before shooting to getting better angles to choosing the right shot distance. You'll hear about key principles for managing photo editing after your shoot. The session will also offer some best practices tips for camera settings, flash & lighting, optimal locations, and other areas of interest. Learn the tricks of the trade that transform novices into more capable photographers.
